Honey Nut Cheerios

Now maybe it is just the cereal, but it could also be just the fact that I ate about an hour and half before I went to swim today, but man was I sluggish. I started off like a man on a mission, but soon found myself just plugging along trying to get in enough yardage to equal something I could call a workout.

Todays swim was just to keep yardage. No pace work or anything like that as I am still trying to get my feel back. I did a nice little descend set of:

300, 250, 200, 150, 100 with about a minute rest between each round
Then I did 3 100's to wind it down.

1,300 measily yards which I should also mention are all done freestyle. There is no need to do stroke work as I do not intend to be doing any other stroke during a triathlon. Although it would be amusing to see someone do the entire swim butterfly or breastroke.
