The Focus
Obviously I will perform better the better I eat. I will recover faster and I will have the energy to bust out a couple workouts a day when I am scheduled to do so. I also have to know that when I need that extra effort it will be there and part of that equation is proper nutrition.
I haven't quite started monitoring what I eat and I am trying to get rid of the beer and such that is in the house ... basically a nice little cleansing ritual. I am of course doing this by route of consumption :) Once it is all gone though I do not plan on restocking the fridge with beer and junk food but instead with vegatables and loads of water and energy drinks. I have to research what kinds of recipes are quick and easy to make and what I can do to recover quickly after workouts because it is important that when I am training I can give my all to every workout.
So for now my plan is to get rid of what I have and just focus on staying hydrated. As I do more research into what I need to eat and drink on a daily basis I will be updating the nutrition part of this site. I also intend to start listing some recipes on here for others to follow. I am hoping to find plenty of recipes that allow me to consume tons of calories and take 30 minutes or less to prepare.
