Hump Day

Just a ho hum day ... I felt good as far as the white water pain leaving me :) I felt pretty decent in the water too. I kind of surprised myself because I could push harder and my body responded without tiring too quickly. Within the next week or so I am going to have to climb the ladder to the next rung of pain. I definately have to start pushing myself a bit more.

The workout was set up just to get in a mile and do so without taking as much rest as I had been before. Again made it up as I went along and came up with this:

1x400 warmup
2x200 on 3:30 holding 2:35
4x100 on 2:00 holding 1:15
8x50 on 1:10 [25 catch up drill, 25 sprint]
100 cool down

Total: 1700 yards

I feel fine this evening and I am looking forward to adding running at some point next week to at least be taking on two of the three disciplines and work towards building a better aerobic base.
