Let the soreness begin
So I woke up this morning knowing today was a 2 mile run and wondering how in the world am I going to complete this run without legs :) Fortunately I was not nearly as sore as I had thought I would be after yesterday's run, but already this afternoon my legs are tightening every minute.
I actually got all strapped up again and felt pretty good walking out to the trail behind my house getting ready to roll. I ran about a mile and it seemed to be a pretty strong effort, but as my distance continued to increase my strength continued to decrease. By the time I ended my run I was exhausted and refreshed at the same time. I accomplished the run without any major setbacks and am excited for the wednesday off from running. Today's run consisted of:
2 mile run
.13 mile walk cooldown
Classes are starting tonight for me so I have yet another thing taking up my free time. I hope that this weekend I can put some of the charts that the Polar software is generating of my runs out here. That are pretty amazing!
