On to Week 2

     Well I jumped on in to week 2 and it was no big deal. Mondays are slated as recovery days throughout the training schedule or function as days off if I were competing in events on Sundays.

     It was a pretty uneventful run. I hope that is how all recovery days end up. Just a quick mile and then I am done for the day. With recovery days slated for Monday's and Thursdays on this training guide it sets me up nicely to get back into the water and swim on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Here are the details of today's run:

.4 mile walk - cooldown
   avg hr: 149 bpm
   avg speed: 5.5 mph (max of 8.3 mph)

1st mile - 8:19 min
   avg hr:167 (max of 182 bpm)
   avg speed:7.2 mph
