A quick recovery run
Well even though today was a recovery run I was looking forward more to sleeping in than the quick mile I had for today. Regardless I sacrificed the pillow time for some time pounding the pavement. My wife and dog again joined me on the run.
The pace was nice a slow and I have noticed that it takes me a little bit now to get into these runs and get warmed up. It must be because I am still just starting out, my muscles don't quite know how to respond. Well I am forcing them to figure it out. Nothing to special with this run, just a nice easy one for a recovery day. Stats below:
Overall
1 mile run
.4 mile walk - cooldown
avg hr: 131 bpm (max of 162 bpm)
avg speed: 4.9 mph (max of 7.0 mph)
1st mile - 9:37 min
avg hr:148 (max of 161 bpm)
avg speed:6.2 mph
