34 Degrees

WOW WOW WOW .... yeah it was seriously 34 degrees outside. Thank goodness my wife had me pack some winter clothes prior to moving into our temp house here, I layered up and braved the elements this morning!

The stupid thing is it is suppose to get up to a high of 66 today and the mid 70's through the weekend. Damn cold fronts! I think my watch is getting closer to being adjusted correctly. I am about .1 or .2 off now I think overall. Here are the #s from today's run:

Overall
2 mile run
.16 mile walk - cooldown
avg hr: 171 bpm (max of 188 bpm)
avg speed: 7.2 mph (max of 9.1 mph)

1st mile - 8:05 min
avg hr: 164 (max of 182 bpm)
   avg speed:7.4 mph

2nd mile - 7:16 min
avg hr: 185 (max of 188 bpm)
   avg speed:8.3 mph

Not too bad, I think I was in shock of how cold it had gotten on that first mile. Took me awhile to get warmed up, but I did get to try out some of my new dri-fit clothes and they worked as advertised. My times are not that much slower than I had anticipated adjusting the watch, but I do have one more adjustment to do and I think only on special days right now am I going to be breaking 7 minutes. Still a long road to go ....
