I love recovery days
They are just a nice quick jog around for a mile and you are done ... as this program advances though they will be 2 and 3 mile runs, but hopefully at that time they feel the same as this 1 mile fun run.
Just got out there and got it done. Was a little sore fom the sat run so it was good to get out and stretch.
Overall
1 mile run
.2 mile walk - cooldown
avg hr: 147 bpm (max of 177 bpm)
avg speed: 6.1 mph (max of 9.6 mph)
1st mile - 7:59 min
avg hr: 157 (max of 177 bpm)
avg speed:7.5 mph
Overall not bad. Just and easy pace and got the mile in and went off to work.
