I'm Lost
Yeah it happened. I thought I knew where I was going and I had absolutely no idea. I just kept running and against my better judgement never turned around ... just kept running ...
Before I knew it I had run 5 miles and I knew the only way to find my way back was the route I had run to get lost in the first place. Not a fun thought when you are worn out and only suppose to run 6 miles for the day.
Here is the mess I got into:
Overall
7 mile total run
1 mile walk - cooldown
avg hr: 166 bpm (max of 197 bpm)
avg speed: 5.8 mph (max of 8.8 mph)
1st mile - 8:13 min
avg hr: 167 (max of 179 bpm)
avg speed:7.4 mph
2nd mile - 7:42 min
avg hr: 182 (max of 183 bpm)
avg speed:7.8 mph
3rd mile - 7:39 min
avg hr: 187 (max of 187 bpm)
avg speed:7.9 mph
4th mile - 7:54 min
avg hr: 190 (max of 193 bpm)
avg speed:7.6 mph
5th mile - 8:39 min
avg hr: 193 (max of 193 bpm)
avg speed:6.9 mph
6th mile - 19:56 min (walking trying to find out where I am)
avg hr: 134 (max of 124 bpm)
avg speed:3.1 mph
7th mile - 9:12 min (running again)
avg hr: 176 (max of 187 bpm)
avg speed:6.5 mph
8th mile - 9:12 min
avg hr: 190 (max of 193 bpm)
avg speed:6.5 mph
On the last 3 miles I don't think my watch was working correctly and recording the data correctly. But I have to go by what it is telling me ... Eventually being gone so long my wife came looking for me and I had been wishing she had found me 3 miles back!!! :)
