Week 2 begins
It begins by doing a nice little 1 mile run which is suppose to be recovery according to the workout schedule, but I view it as more of let's get the blood flowing again and let's get back into the swing of things. A nice, but sometimes rude introduction into the week :)
It was a pretty good run and I tried to stretch out my strides. Was taking a step every 1 1/2 to 2 cement squares. Possibly not the best way to measure your stride, but I am just comparing to when I run after I bike. It was a pretty cold morning out too ... mid 20's, but all the same was a good slap in the face to get the week started off. Stats below:

avg hr: 159 bpm (max of 189 bpm)
avg speed: 5.1 mph (max of 8.1 mph)
1st mile - 9:20 min
avg hr: 172 (max of 188 bpm)
avg speed: 6.3 mph
